You came to mind today, and it made me feel so glad
   as I thought of all the special times you and I have had...
I was wishing we could take a long walk beside the sea,
   Just strolling on the beach and talking endlessly.
‘Cause I really do love just spending time with you,
   For no one understands me quite the way you do.
It seems we get along like two birds of a feather,
    And I’m longing for the day when we can get together!
Though the busyness of life tends to keep us apart,
   please know that our friendship is dear to my heart.
