I knew we’d be friends from the first day we met ...
we started to talk, and we haven’t stopped yet!
Together we’ve cried, together we’ve prayed,
together we’ve laughed, together we’ve stayed.
Our love for each other is steady and strong,
when things go right –or when they go wrong.
How I cherish this deep devotion we share,
and the comfort I find in knowing you’re there.
You always bring laughter and joy to my heart,
and I miss you those times when we are apart.
Friendships like ours are precious and few,
and I am so glad that God gave me you!
